Dock Dogs - Berwyn, IL

I had my whole weekend planned to go to the Suzanne Clothier seminar at For Your Canine... I started out well . I went to the seminar on Thursday and it was very good. Friday I went to help Chicagoland Dock Dogs set up their event in Berwyn... and I was starting to feel the dock diving itch. I figured that Dylan would much rather be dock diving than sitting at a seminar, so I gave him to Chris, Katie and Andy for the day... Chris and Katie both jumped D in waves on Saturday and he did great! I left the seminar and went to go watch my boy :)



Not only did Dylan get to play in the water... Rumor was enticed enough to jump/fall in on his own! I think he went in 4 times the entire weekend. Rumor *loves* the Dokken Ducks... odd, my Lab is scared of the duck and my Border Collie loves to "kill the bird!".



Overall, the weekend was a blast. Dylan had his personal best for Speed Retrieve and made it into the finals... he finished in 5th place with most of his times in the 8 second range.

I'm glad I decided to spend the day outside playing with my boys and friends - it was a great weekend!
